Hobby Income

It is often said that the best income opportunity is in something you love doing. What more than to think of your hobby.

You have a hobby because you like it but how many people have thought of turning their hobby into an income opportunity. What is more, how many people have thought of turning their hobby into earning an income on the Internet?

Take on fact. Normal businesses tend to be success because their owners no a lot about the business niche they are in. (if they are not they will not be successful and soon out of business).

Now hobbyists tend to get to know a lot about their particular hobby. Why? Because they love their hobby and learn as much about it as they can.

Just think you can talk for hours about your hobby sometimes boring people to distraction. What’s better than turning all this hobby energy into developing a business on the Internet? What’s more, running a business on the Internet can turn into being a hobby.

I say this because what do you spend on you hobby. Money and lots of time.

Now what will starting a hobby on the Internet cost? Money and time of course, but I will tell you one thing it will cost you a heck of a lot less moneywise and lets face it time your own anyway.

Going back to talking for hours about your hobby. Just look at the following stamp collecting as an example.

Set up a stamp collecting blog.

Write some articles about your stamp-collecting hobby.

Put adverts relating to stamp collecting on your blog.

Put a Mall on your blog.

Start a forum for like-minded members.

And heaps of other things.

But how do I create a blog? where can I put it? I can talk but I don’t think I can write? lots of other things come to mind.

Well for a start creating a blog is not that hard. There are heaps of people out there to help you including me. Writing! Have you ever tried it, apart from that you can talk and there are a number of “Voice to page” software packages that you can talk and talk that will turn it into text that then you can then go and alter to what you like. Ever thought about Video. Wow put a video of yourself talking about your favourite subject. Your hobby.

This sounds expensive, no do you know that you can get your own web hosting for as little as $10 month with your own domain name.  (e.g. www.joeblows-stamp-collecting-blog.com).

Blog Software Free, forum free, your time free, lots of other stuff you need you can usually get for free or at little cost.

So what is stopping you. I bet starting a hobby business on the Internet will cost you a whole lot less per month than your hobbies you currently have. What is more if you have more than one hobby you can create multiple Blogs and it will not cost you a penny more than just having one.
